This striking piece is the perfect balance of sea and sky and it reminds us of the Blue Dome Churches in Santorini.
Our LuxeRox Turquoise Aragonite is the blue variety of a calcium carbonate mineral which is created through precipitation from both fresh and marine environments over the eons. The presence of copper during the mineral’s growth is what causes the impressive ocean-blue color. Aragonite from the Helmand province of Afghanistan is synonymous with its unique botryoidal crystal formation that resembles a smooth bubble-like shape. The word botryoidal is derived from the Greek word, “botrus” or having a shape reminiscent of a cluster of grapes and grape-like shapes
This recent discovery looks like a modern art installation with its appearance and color but it is completely natural.
Aragonite is said to foster truth and understanding, bringing calmness and insight to a difficult time. Aragonite also promotes discipline and motivation in people, providing insight into stressful situations, especially in business.
